General Conditions

Introduction

Chunaki Ecolodges is a Colombian hotel establishment with national tourism registration  N°180125.

"Client" refers to all persons named in the reservation form who intend to book with Chunaki Ecolodges.

A "Product" is any service sold and offered by Chunaki Ecolodges. All customers will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted all booking conditions when booking a product from us.

If the customer is booking on behalf of a group, it is the responsibility of the customer booking and accepting the terms and conditions to ensure that all other persons in the group have read the terms and conditions and accepted their contents.

Reservations

Chunaki Ecolodges considers that a binding contract has been formed on the agreed deposits exchanged between the client and Chunaki Ecolodges. 

This arises when Chunaki Ecolodges has received a deposit of 50% or 100% of the total booking and issues a confirmation. Chunaki Ecolodges reserves the right to refuse any reservation without further explanation. 

The deposit may vary depending on the accommodation or plan booked and the time between the confirmation of the event and the date of the event. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the trip.

Availability

All products offered are subject to availability. Confirmation of availability is not valid until Chunaki Ecolodges receives it in writing. Confirmation of a reservation can only be guaranteed upon receipt of full or partial payment for the event.

Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer or Paypal (credit card). Paypal is subject to a surcharge. All payments by bank transfer must be made without any bank charges. 

In case of errors or omissions in a proposal or when an increase is modified by a change in circumstances, Chunaki Ecolodges reserves the right to modify the quoted prices with notification to the client. 

You can book by paying 100% of the amount at once, or 50% of the payment when booking and the other 50% 30 days before the stay.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, the conditions are as follows: 75% of the payment will be refunded two months before your stay, or 25% of the payment between the two months and the day of your stay, both minus bank and transfer charges.

Insurance 

We strongly recommend that reservations not be made without adequate personal insurance. 

It is the client's responsibility to have adequate travel and accident insurance to cover a minimum, but not limited to, the following: all medical expenses, including treatment, transportation and evacuation; repatriation expenses; lost or delayed baggage; and cancellation or curtailment of a product. 

The client's insurance must not exclude any planned adventure activities from the time of booking and for the full duration of the product. Chunaki Ecolodges does not accept liability on behalf of clients in circumstances where Chunaki Ecolodges has provided a reasonable standard of product. 

Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the customer. It is also the sole responsibility of the person making the booking to inform and ensure that all members of their party have read, understood and accepted these terms. The client agrees to pay for any damage caused by the client to the facilities or equipment of Chunaki Ecolodges, its employees and any third party providing services to Chunaki Ecolodges.

Transportation

Chunaki Ecolodges accepts no responsibility for the failure or delay of a participant in any transportation booked with Chunaki Ecolodges. 

In the event that a customer is delayed, Chunaki Ecolodges will endeavor to wait, however Chunaki Ecolodges accepts no responsibility if this is not possible.
